I'm fairly new to quilting, but I love designing my own things. The first time I used EQ8, it was a little confusing without a user manual in front of me, but the next time it was easier. The program has a fair amount of different fabrics to choose from, and I love how it shows you the finished overall design, and will tell you how much yardage you need for each fabric! My finished quilt looked just like how they said it would look!
