I seem to be in the same boat. I received my stand about 10 days ago and it was packaged the same. Luckily it seems like my box was not too beat up. However, the box was missing all the arms. I'm not sure exactly how the arms did not end up in the box (seems like a pretty significant part to miss). I've emailed massdrop support the same day that I received the stand (and afterwards) but so far have not gotten any responses besides "somebody will look into it." Emailed support again today hoping to get a more detailed response.
EDIT: Received a response from support saying that replacement parts were shipped direct from Ergotech a few days ago. Hopefully I will receive them soon so that I can set this stand up.
