Can someone explain the RFID topic a little more? I was about to impulse buy one of these but now I'm just more confused than anything, any help would be appreciated! Looking for a new wallet, mine is just too bulky

JrodSome credit cards and passports have started to use something called RFID which is just short for radio frequency ID. All it does is allows the transfer of information through radio wave. It's very likely that you still have credit cards which store all you information in a magnetic strip, which means you have to swipe it to get the information. If you don't have a card with RFID, you don't have to worry about it. Now if you do, all you need is aluminum foil. Obviously it'd be a little weird to wrap this wallet in aluminum foil, so you may have to look elsewhere for a compact wallet. But you'll certainly be paying quite a bit more as far as I've seen. There might be a credit card shaped shield which you can buy, but I'm not knowledgeable on that stuff.

AidinBeautiful. You've just sold me a wallet. Honestly I wanted some human interaction on the internet, I know I could've easily searched it online but this made my google searches more precise and I have come to the conclusion that n o n e of my cards have RFIDS :3 thanks @Aidin

AidinThanks for that detailed response Aidin! You can also purchase a credit card sized aluminum card or even just apply foil to an empty gift card, and use that as your top card or in most cases it will work underneath a card as well. I should make available an aluminum card eventually. Thanks for all your feedback and suggestions.
