In the long run, even with some major splurges such as a razor of this class and expensive soaps, one will save money. My only depression is when I fly. US carry on rules prohibit DE blades. For such times, I recommend a Dorco cartridge system. An unfortunate name, but a solid product at a great price. As good or better that the ones you will find under glass at retail stores, at a fraction of the price.
