I think they are the same thing, just cheaper.
On the other hand, I got the Alice 80 and it is amazing, especially for the price. I was originally going to get this, but cancelled when I did the research and found they are the same thing. Not only that, but the default switches are way better than I expected.

Yes, the latest firmware version (as of 6 Oct) support both bulit-in function layer and also VIA configuration

Yes. I just built one. Mine came with a single B keycap and the 2 space bars so that if the keycap set you have for it didn’t have them in it you could still use it.
