EreshkigalI find the brown color coarse and scratchy. I'm knitting it for my sister-in-law, and she provided the wool. I wouldn't choose this.

EreshkigalI'm also spoiled as a knitter and would usually choose baby alpaca or merino/silk blends for my own garments, but I've worked with this yarn many times and really like it! My husband honestly doesn't seem to care about the difference in softness and enjoys the wool feel of this yarn. The stitch definition is really great so it's perfect for cables or other textured projects like a throw pillows and blankets.
It's also really great for felting projects! I've made tons of dryer balls from this for myself and as gifts.
