Joined the drop for the non-limited edition stainless. Kinda reminds me of the speedmaster a little bit. Looking forward to receiving it. Kinda disappointed by MD’s email that it is not going to ship until Oct 26.
MikeomaticHave you received your's yet? My start pusher is slightly loose and bothers me somewhat. Please let me know what you think of your's and which model you purchased. Thanks.
NewMDUserI just received it the other day, and I am really happy with the look and build quality. I’m not a huge fan of the clasp, but I’ve gotten (somewhat) used to it. The other weird thing is that the screw-down crown appears to be a left hand thread for some reason (i.e. turns counterclockwise to tighten).
I purchasd the Ga8370.wbw model for $349.
If you are having issues I’d recommend reaching out to MD support. They’ve helped me in the past.
MikeomaticFor $350 this is absolutely unbeatable, especially being based on watches that have an association with a space program. The slightly loose button isn't too much of a bother and honestly it's only the tiniest bit wobbly and turns a little easier than the reset button.
Weakest design of the watch is the clasp. I wonder how long the nubs will hold up. Seems to be made from higher strength steel compared to the push button clasp and the friction clasp but one side will wear faster like any brand that chooses this type of clasp. Both nub parts are probably welded in. Whenever the bracelet fails, it should look fine on a strap anyway. Whole thing does remind me of a speedmaster... but more a casio based on a speedmaster.
