Last time I didn't buy it because Reddit said a large would look ridiculous on people below 6ft tall. Is it really that huge?

enthFrom fjallraven's website. I believe the person on the left is wearing the large. As you can see it's pretty big, as this one is packed full. I would say go for the large if you are actually going to using it to pack things in, but for an everyday backpack I think medium would be the best choice.
