is there a practical use for the 2 diamond leather patches on the front of the large bag? i like the size but i don't like the look of those patches and would prefer a front pocket, but if there's a good reason for them i'd have no problem with them being there

bobadrunkhook what? just anything you can or is there something specific that is to be hooked there? would it be for larger things that don't need to be protected from the elements like pots for camping?

notkipIt should be something like a throwback to old climbing bags where you can attach a strap through it and attach what you want. Not too sure on the durability of that though or the recommended use of it
