Anyone know if this is any better than tempered glass pads?

MarcusJanThe problem with glass pads is that they are freezing cold when you touch them. For that reason, I prefer the 1030. However in my experience, the 1030 mousepad wore out in only 2 weeks of use.
I'm rocking the Steelseries 9HD. It's been going strong for 8 months now.

PagondaI've had my glass icemat for 7 years and works the same as the first day I bought it. I was just wondering if this had any advantages over it.

MarcusJanSome laser mice tend not to agree with glass. I had to give up my tempered glass when I switched over to a laser sensor
