What they really want, however, are the original prices, but that just isn't going to happen at the moment while this cryptocurrency thing is in full swing with miners buying up all the consumer cards.

tsharpTo be precisely honest, the word in Massdrop (drop), does not indicate a "drop in MSRP price" - it's a "drop in mass at a market reduced price".
Please be accurate in your thinking. Too many people skew their thinking to what they want to believe, not to what is accurate.
Massdrop is a place where folks can vote on what items the want to see offered here from a manufacturer at a reduced price when compared to other retail sources. It is NOT a reduced MSRP price; it's a reduced "market" price that is in relation to current market.
And for video cards, the market is very high right now due to the cryptocurrency craze. If you can find the exact same video card in new condition anywhere else for less, then that would be the place to buy.
