Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). It’s a concise and comprehensive overview with links to some great sites that go deeper. He also has a separate Links about keyboards page. The Keyboard layouts doc he recommends explains layout goals and metrics in detail, summarizing the alt layouts discussed here as well as more than one hundred others. If you want fast shipping, buy pre-fabricated caps from a normal retailer.
If you want to purchase something that's not even manufactured yet on a group buy site - waiting up to a year isn't unheard of. It was clear that production would start after the drop ended, and the estimated ship date was on the front page.
Looking at your other posts CarsonM you seem pretty negative. That ain't healthy man life is pretty awesome when you have enough time and money to be buying stuff from a site like this, cheer up dude a little wait might help build some character.
Would be nice to get more updates though. Even if it were just things like a weekly "production still under way".
