Are Fat Packs worth it for someone who is jumping back into the hobby of Magic? I used to play about five years ago, but once I heard Ravnica was making a return, I really wanted to start casually playing again.

BRaxShredsThe booster box's are a better value technically, but I really do like a fat pack, especially for new players. They give you 10 packs, a die, a pack of lands, and a box to store your cards. As someone that plays, I still try to buy 1 fat pack a set for storage of the commons/uncommons of the set. Makes it easier to sort.

BRaxShredsNo. Buy singles. It is the best use of your money. If you don't want to spend a ton, find some pauper decks you like and emulate those until you can or are willing to spend more.
