One more question - is the waist measured flat (BIG, Gustin style) - or 360 degrees (Japanese style)?

bapchaGood question! The waist size (from our own sizing chart) is measured flat (BIG style).
If you were to look at Hanzo's own page the sizing is done japanese style with the reversed waistband and measured 360 degrees. It's confusing for a lot of folks used to Levi's, hence we changed it.
