I bought this exact watch from Shop HQ (thanks, @hruskap!) for $60 to give it a try. I thought that the dimensions were a bit large for my 6 1/2 inches wrist, but liked the looks of this timepiece. I was wrong about the size, since the curved lugs give it a nice fit, even on a smaller wrist like mine, with a total of 52 mm lug to lug dimension for a 45 mm across without the crown. The domed crystal is a nice plus, creating those cool visual effects when looking at it from the sides and the visibility is superb, with a clean dial, large hands and the iconic triangle pointing upwards at 12, which we came to expect from flieger type watches. Also the PVD brush finish with the bronze color on the case is quite nice. But there are two things that detract from the value of this watch. One is the lume, only applied on the hands, which is mostly fine initially, but fades quite quickly and is mostly invisible after an hour or so (but, hey, a $60 watch with no good lume doesn't make the news, does it?). The other one is the height of the case: at 15 mm, this case is tall and, for whatever reason, it seems even taller than it really is. I'm not sure why the manufacturer went with this look since the Miyota 8215 movement would have easily fitted in a far shallower case, which would have apppeared better proportioned. The leather strap is thick, but it has a signed bronze PVD finished buckle to match the case and even an additionally bronze finished pass through loop, which is a nice detail. All in all, if you can get this watch for $60, give it a try, it shouldn't disappoint. At $100, it may be hit or miss. At MSRP, forget it! (but everyone knows that none of these clocks ever sell at MSRP)
