Is there any chance the limit could be raised a bit before the end of the deal? Or is that set-in-stone at this point? :(

It's quite unlikely that we'll be changing it for this buy, but have noted that for the next one we will need even more cards to meet demand. We'll also keep in mind round-drafting numbers for future limitations, thanks for the very apt suggestion! I wonder what set we should run next, I wish there was a place where I could go and see what the majority of people wanted to buy...

MarkTry making a post on http://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG. I'm sure people there would be glad to give some input. Edit: sarcasm detection broken!

MarkAnother major concern with ordering individual packs is that it's possible for boxes to be mapped, with choice packs being pulled and opened by the vendor (or the vendor's vendor, etc). This devalues the remaining packs tremendously. It's known in the community that you should only buy from factory sealed booster boxes, or from extremely trusted sources. That's not saying people don't or won't buy individual packs (the 5,500 packs from this sale are testament to that), but people will just feel safer and more secure buying sealed boxes.

MusicGustoHey Peter, I was making a tongue-and-cheek suggestion that you guys should start a poll for the next MTG buy :)

SastopherThat's fair, trust me when I say that we would be happy to sell boxes- and will do our best to plan better for the next groupbuy so that box-quantities are available to be purchased. (If we didn't limit this groupbuy we would have had to shut it down early, which is a less desirable outcome). As for box mapping, after a couple Google searches I think I know what you're talking about, and while I'm amazed at the efforts that people have gone through to carry out their operation, it's not something we're even remotely considering. Hopefully our community members will come here after they receive their Innistrad packs and talk about all of the great cards they received in their packs.

MarkI'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you guys were actually mapping packs! I didn't think that was likely, I'm just trying to explain some of the issues in selling individual packs and provide further motivation for selling by the box.

SastopherYour post didn't imply that we were mapping the boosters, but I wanted to make sure nobody got the wrong idea from your post :) Thanks!
