How are these shoes better than, say Allen Edmonds?

MaxyAEs are great shoes. At this price point you may prefer some styles and lasts over others within the same brand and across different brands. That being said, I think the magnolia at this price is hard to beat. I got the magnolia in black last drop and found the magnolia more comfortable out the box than the park avenue and the leather is of better quality. These fit true to size. Only a couple of AEs fit me well so I'm a little biased.
