Has anyone tested these with OSX El Capitan? Apple re-wrote their USB stack and are now super picky about USB 3 hubs. I have two models, anker and vantec, one purchased within the last year that are simply turned off by OSX now for not being spec compliant according to Apple's super strict interpretation of the USB 3 specification.

yanfalii'm interested in replacing my existing hardware for similar reasons. OSX seems to have issues with my USB hubs and I've had a bunch of intermittent issues with various hub-connected devices. Sometimes a full system reboot is the only way to restore normal device functionality. The Macbook Pro only has 2 built in ports so a hub is absolutely necessary for me to operate normally with my desk setup. I at minimum need mouse, keyboard, an external drive, and a yubikey, but really have a ton of other usb devices that I'd rather be able to just leave plugged in rather than having to do a bunch of manual re-arrangement any time i want to print something or play a game or whatever. I could fill up the 13 port hub but I don't want to spend the money if I'll just continue to have the same issues that I already have with my cheapo brand hub.

yanfaliI have the Anker version of the 13 post hub and it works fine with my 2016 macbook pro running Sierra. Everything works through it flawlessly.
