I have to say I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about this product. A typically sized battery pack that could jump start my car? Sounded too good to be true.
After we received the the Juno Jumper test unit I took it home for a weekend to see how it would do in a real world situation. I left my headlights on overnight in my garage and came back the next morning to a battery so dead none of the interior lights would even turn on.
I hooked up the Juno Jumper to the battery, cranked it over, and it fired up! It sounded a bit strained to start, but it worked. I immediately shut the car off to try and jump it again and was successful the second time around as well.
I joined the drop to keep one of these in my car as my battery has been a little unreliable lately. I had to wait around for an hour after work just a couple weeks ago because my battery had died. Having something for that kind of situation would have been great, but to be able to just leave the Juno in my glovebox is what sets this apart for me.
As a disclaimer, I own an Audi A4 1.8T (4 cylinder) and haven't tested it on any other vehicles or engine sizes.
An 18,000mAh battery would [theoretically] provide power for about a minute and a half at that rating, (... assuming it's a 12V battery, which I doubt, 18Ah / 600A == 108 seconds) -- Can the battery and electronics withstand that?

I just got word back from Juno Power about the continuous power output. The unit is designed to output at 300A-600A for 4 seconds, and 4 times in 2 minutes with a 30 second interval. The SMARTec cable functions as a safety between the vehicle and the Jumper and will automatically disconnect if the temperature reaches a certain level.
