They do make a true left handed scissor. On a true left handed the blades are switched so that when you place your scissors on a line to cut, that is exactly where they cut. That’s how you can test for true left handed. Grips of handle are sometimes reversed too, depends on the grip style.

ThestauffHmm... I'm left handed and I only realized the purpose of such scissors just now. Got my drop today, and from what I can see on the package, they only have 10" left-handed version in 7000 series.
