I must say, I am rather disappointed in the Bolt. I've been lusting after this thing for a long time and finally was able to buy one through Massdrop. Unfortunately, the bolt action is extremely sticky. It takes a ton of effort to move the bolt into and out of the locked position. I often end up unscrewing the button part because it is so hard to twist the mechanism. It's no fun to use - just extremely frustrating. I love the Retrakt, but I really don't like the Bolt. Bummer.

FrcottingWhich one do you have? I've had the aluminium one for almost three years and I've experienced no such sticking. In fact, the one-handed flick used to be my only exercise for days.
They do get marks on the body quite easily. Might be appealing to some but personally I wish they hardened the casing a bit more.
