It came in pieces which had to be assembled which I felt was rather cheap for a $75 pen. All the parts have an okay finish and there are still turn lines on the copper barrel. Handling and balance aren't bad but fall short of a Montblanc or Cartier (to be expected) and I like my Lamy pens better as well. It's not quite the precision instrument I was hoping it would be and while it's unique I can't help but feel that it's the pen Maglite would produce if they made pens. My recommendation would be to skip it in the future as there are nicer pens for less money.
