Just got my knife today (FL, USA), the blade is indeed sharp. Overall the profile of the knife is bigger in person then I was expecting, but nothing that would make me not want to carry this with me everyday. The torsion opening system is smooth and easy to use one handed. once open the grip is solid and the blade does not exibit any kind of wiggle in its housing. The rope cutter cuts through zip ties, which I cut many for my day job.
One question I have is at the top of the knife above the pocket clip is a small round pointed extrusion of metal that looks to me like something you would use to shatter glass, like one of these emergency tools people keep in their cars, not sure tho. I did not see anything about it on the mass drop product page, but I will say I have not rtfm or check the kershaw site, its not a bad thing at all, just another feature.
