Massdrop stopped shipping knives outside the US. People were having problems with customs.

nantipaneithI'd argue that's their problem and not Massdrop's. If anyone orders something after repeatedly being told not to if your countries arcane laws prohibit it, it's their own fault. In any case, everyone can just use a forwarding service and be done with it.

sprk1Senders also carry a certain amount of responsibility towards goods arriving at customs, and arcane countries often don't see the difference between the parties.

nantipaneithSure that's true, but what does it matter? Massdrop's responsibility ends at customs doorstep when buying products like this. Everyone is informed of this on every drop. If people want to be children with short attention spans and not read the bold letters let them I say. At the end of the day the people that reallu want to get a knife will just use a forwarding service anyways.

sprk1Yes, but... they probably get stung by paypal refunds if the customer doesn't get their goods.

TasselhoffHoly shhhhhhiii... Now that's a reason I can understand. First argument I feel is really valid. On the other hand, just remove paypal as an option for knives?
