For the people who are still waiting on their tracking, just wanted to jump in and explain what is happening. Just like any other group buy we source products requested by the community. When the drop ended we sent the vendor the pertinent info to prepare the orders. They let us know that they would get the product in more than enough time to ship out the orders by the expected ship date.
Despite the checks and balances that are set in place; the large nature of this order combined with holiday demand complicated original forecasts.
The vendor’s system for dispatching orders is very basic, they need to manually input each order’s info. Once the orders are dispatched from the vendor they forward us an email manually, with each group member’s tracking info. From there we have to associate each tracking number to your transaction page so that you can receive said info.
We have been assured that tracking will be forwarded to us in the next 48 hours.
We understand the frustration with the increased fulfillment time and we have communicated this dissatisfaction to the vendor multiple times throughout the drop. This vendor opens up many products that the Massdrop community requests, but due to the experience that you all have gone through we have ended our relationship with them once the remaining orders have shipped.
