This would be a good option but at this price and NO converter included becomes a deal breaker.

barry9I don't really know much about fountain pens, I just like to gawk at them on this website sometimes, so apologies if this is a dumb question, but... this is one of the cheaper pens I've seen on Drop. Is a converter something you would usually expect to come with cheaper pens, or do you think the quality of this particular pen doesn't match the price unless a converter is also included?

kevinhbIf you are new to fountain pens the three best quality and best priced pens are the Pilot Metropolitan which comes with a converter about 25.00; TWSBI eco piston fill about 30.00 and the Lamy Safari 29.00 plus 7.00 for a converter. Almost all pens in the 70.00 and above price range include converters. hope this was helpful. Watch youtube fountain pen videos would be very helpful.

barry9Cool, thanks for the info! I feel like I haven't seen a converter mentioned in some of the more expensive pen drops I've seen on here, but again I am usually looking... a bit more at the pictures than the description in all honesty :P

barry9I *did* get a Laban brand converter with this pen (2 days ago). My guess is that they just don't mention it, which they should. Even though international style converters are cheap and ubiquitous, not including one at this price, you're right, would be kind of rude. Good thing they did. :)
