I don't see why I can't just tie an overhand knot in the lace to accomplish the same thing...

lefthandedspatulaSome think it looks cleaner without tying a knot. Just a preference thing.<br /><br />BTW, I got these last time they dropped, and they work great, even gave a pair to a friend because he liked mine.

lefthandedspatulaThey eliminate the knot hanging off the top of your shoe. Also eliminates the knot that some of us tie on the inside of our shoes. Just creates a simple comfortable slip on.
