I am concerned that these are "Black Market" pens from a dark source. The result is that Lamy will not honor the warranty.
Massdrop's transaction for this pen seem sketchy to me. This feels like a bad situation that is not going to get better before it gets a lot worse.

GregWritesI'm a little confused how delays in purchase orders, bank transfers and shipping are suspicious. This is all pretty standard stuff, except that usually, it impacts the business selling the product to you instead of your receipt of the product directly.

GregWritesThese come from the official Lamy distributor. If you have any issues with the pen you will soon receive (fingers crossed) let us know and we will go through the vendor to get it replaced for you free of charge according the the warranty period.

ElypticDelays in POs, deposits, and shipping are actually "pretty standard stuff". They happen all day every day. It just happened that our order fell victim to a mis-ship this time. Regarding transfers of funds and order payments, if the amount is large enough many companies have policies in place that require extra steps to confirm funds prior to releasing a PO. Massdrop is communicating frequently and transparently about the issue, which is what's important.
