jimi987I'm using Noodler's no-feather with the supplied converter and quite happy now. Had some hard starts for the first fill or two, writing very nice now after re-rinsing the nib. I guess I didn't clean it enough initially(?). I'm no expert on fountain pens (this is my first "nice" one) but I really am enjoying its weight in the hand and the heptagonal shape. I don't post when I write; with the cap this one might be too heavy unless you really like a weighty pen. I got the M nib and it's pretty broad, imo. Might have gone for the F if I did it over again (or might pick one up). Still, quite pleased with the purchase!

jimi987Haven't been able to try anything yet except the cartridge that came with it. I'm looking to use it with Pelikan Edelstein and LAMY inks.

monoclinequick update: found x-feather to be really dry and still had some problems so I switched to heart of darkness (also noodler) and it writes great now. Didn't know inks varied that much but I guess they do. Bad blue heron also works great.

jimi987I used Noodlers black [not very innovative color choice, but for notes and such gets the job done] with a Fine L-tech went through ink faster then my Faber-Castell loom M and my Itallix Pearson's Essential M. So maybe it was just my nib, but I changed it out for a Faber-Castell F (from their model Basic) and now it goes through ink at what I consider a normal rate, with out dumping out ink.
