For Canadians, NCIX has the 34UM95-P for $999.99 CDN (not USD) until Jan 21 which is considerably cheaper for us Canucks.

From above and what I can figure out, the differences for this one include a much better warranty (one year vs three years) and a better stand (which, along with the light bleed, seems to be the biggest complaint for the 34UM95-P).
It seems to be that any rMBP runs these fine (although have to purchase a thunderbolt cable separately). Anybody have firsthand experience? This almost clinches the deal for me (no need for the exorbitantly priced, clunky, and badly rated Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter).
tulboxif you can, you should look for the 34UM94-P, which is the same panel as the 95, but with a three year warranty. Newegg has it for $899 (USD).

And another difference is that there are no speakers on the UM models.
