I'm interested in joining in on this and saving myself a $150, but slightly worried about how the RMA process would work if I got a defective unit due to the insane back light bleeding some of them have. How would that work here?

cullenwYou call LG customer support for commercial customers. It seems to be better than support for retail customers. However, IIRC, your exact experience will vary based on the support representative you end up talking to. So far a couple of different people have had different experiences.
