Any gamers out there who can comment on playing on an OLED like this one? I'm about ready to upgrade from my 8-year-old Panasonic plasma and I'm wondering if this is the one for me. I've heard good things about OLED but would love your real-world opinions!

InfinimbalI have the previous year's model and I do not appear to have any latency issues but I pretty much only play Destiny2 these days. Everything looks great and mine is completely uncalibrated because I am lazy. However I was coming from an 8 year old Sony KDL LED not a Plasma.

InfinimbalI also have the previous year model, the B6, and have been gaming on it a lot. I haven't noticed any latency in games like battlefield 1, I am using the "game" picture setting and it looks way better than any tv I've ever owned. At the very least the latency isn't worse than your average tv.

InfinimbalI ordered the 55" B7A on the last drop and it's amazing. Blows away every other TV I've ever owned, even those that were far more expensive. I've been playing a lot of Destiny 2 since it came out and it feels great. I also have my PC hooked up to it but haven't played any PC game son it yet so can't comment there. I keep all of my inputs set to PC mode (it's the icon selection in input options) All 2017 LG OLED models share the same panel and chipset so you get the same performance across the board. That means ~21ms in gaming/PC mode at 1080p or 4k with HDR. This is higher than what you'll get on an average PC monitor but excellent for a TV. I don't noticed the input lag at all. Granted I'm not super sensitive to it but I have had several TVs, even very expensive ones, where it was very noticeable in the past. I'd recommend checking the review for the C7 on rtings.com for an idea of what to expect.

InfinimbalI have last year's C6--love the quality and have no complaints about input lag, and since you're coming from a TV rather than a gaming monitor you'll probably feel the same way. When I switch HDR off in Mass Effect Andromeda everything loses so much color contrast that it's like switching to the original Mass Effect's graphics--atmospheric but washed out. OLED TV spoils people.

eunuMy thanks for you, @MLaudone, @ajacob16, and @ThreeOlives for your input! I went ahead and pulled the trigger based on your recommendations and can't thank you enough for your thoughts.
I play all kinds of games across PC and Xbox One and I'm excited to see where this TV can take me. Though I do have a high-end gaming monitor I prefer for some games, I've never found that I'm overly sensitive to TV response times after many moons of playing Halo and Rocket League from the couch—if I'm sensitive to anything, it's the contrast I get from my current plasma. I'm mostly looking forward to picking up a Chromecast Ultra or Xbox One X and enjoying some 4k/HDR content for the first time!

InfinimbalIf you're looking for a more budget option for gaming the D65U-D2 still looks amazing (though an OLED will be an improvement), is 65" vs. 55", nearly half the price (refurbished), does 4k, good PC input, and has industry-lowest input lag at around 16ms (on game mode on the single high speed hdmi port). One of the best purchases I've ever made - though I look forward to affordable, low-input-lag OLEDs and this definitely seems to be getting there.
