Should I buy this if I am interested in playing. I am very new to this.

GrippingfallNo, buy some type of pre-built deck and learn the game mechanics before you try to build a deck from a lot made up of mostly common cards. A pre-built deck will let you see the value of rarer cards vs common cards, and will give you a base deck to build off of if you decide you like it. It can be an expensive hobby if you really get into it, but I found it fun just doing friday night magic tournaments using a modified pre-built deck.

GrippingfallYou can also go to your local game shop and ask them for a free starter deck. It's just a little 40 card sample but should be totally free for u to try out the game.

BrandolfffYes, Wizards makes starter decks and sends them to local game shops so that the stores can give them out to newer players. These decks are 30 cards and have all commons/low value cards so that a new player can learn the rules and basic interactions of the game itself.
