Got mine today. Works well, however it is worth noting it is NOT an XM-L2 LED but rather an XP-L LED. This is good IMO, as I prefer the XP-L, but they use the same die, so functionally is identical.
Also worth noting that the included 18650 is a protected cell and has a built in charger. There is a micro usb port near the top of the cell for charging.
Build quality seems excellent, and the lens is AR coated which is great.

Jensen567Hey @Jensen567 - This should have the Cree XM-L2(U2) LED per our understanding of the specs. Do you have the box there still to show us an image? Thank you!

KatieAI do not still have the box, but I can take a photo of the LED. As well as another known XP-L and a known XM-L2 if you'd like. They're easy to tell apart.
The XP-L is basically just an XM-L2 die in the XP sized package though, so light output is the same provided correct bins, and I will give them the benefit of the doubt there.

The XM-L2 has more silver around the actual die. The XP-L also does not have a locating dot.

Jensen567Thanks @Jensen567 - I'll have to dive in and inquire with the vendor. With the holiday upon us I may not receive an answer for a few days. Please know that I'm working on it but there may be a slight delay in response. Happy New Year in the meantime...!

KatieANo worries. Again, this was actually a positive change in my book, mostly just mentioned it for other users to know that it isn't a knockoff or lower quality LED.

Jensen567Hey @Jensen567 - Per the vendor, you are correct that the LED has been updated to be an XP-L LED from an XM-L2 LED. Thank you for the call-out and we will update our drop page for future drops, as well as reach out to those who have purchased the flashlight to alert them to the change. Thank you!
