So close, but I try not to buy lights that use non-standard battery sizes. Any chance we'll see a drop for the Maratac AA Copper?

whackoCR123a is a standard size, and available in many common stores....
can also use IMR's, 16340, 18350.

xformulaxWhile I'm sure 16340 and 18350 batteries would work fine in this light, it should be noted that the CountyComm product page specifically says they do not recommend using rechargeables as the light was designed for off the shelf lithium batteries.

CogsworthEhh, they aren't anywhere near as common as AAs. I can go into practically any store of any variety and find a pack of AA batteries, the same is not true of CR123a's.

whackoReally? I see them all over. They even have them at Safeway, albeit for ridiculously expensive... just by them in a 12 pack online, easy to find for about $20 and last a long time.
