So having had this for a while, and having started to get into Li-Po's, I'm curious, a 14500 will physically fit, (albeit the spring is compressed a bit more), but is the circuit designed to handle the voltage difference?
Maratac's website doesn't mention anything about it, so I'm assuming no, but never hurts to ask.

RankoKohimeJust got a notification about this, so I figured I'd follow up. I tried the 14500 in it, and A/B/A tested against a standard AA, and the brightness seems about the same, so I'm guessing the regulation circuitry is handling it fine. Several hours of use later, no burnout, so I'd say it's fine to run long-term. :) EDIT: It does seem that the current offering is DIFFERENT than what I originally bought. The current offering appears to be AAA, the one I purchased was AA.
