Pretty good little light.
I've carried this light for a few months now and it's really pretty good. It appears to be very well made and the brass has patinaed nicely. In the high setting, it emits enough light to be very useful without going overboard. Which brings me to my biggest gripe.. it's kind of a pain in the @ss to have to shuffle through the settings on this to get to the brightest light. I prefer the brightest beam (lets be honest here, it's a tiny light.. we're not talking about floodlight levels of brightness) .. as it is now, I have to click the light five times to get to the high mode.. I wish there was some way to click the light on and off, keeping it on high without having to shuffle through the low and medium beams. The low setting is nice (but ultimately, unnecessary) if you only need a little bit of light but it certainly should not be the default, especially when you want to turn the light on in hurry in the dark and actually see something. I think this flashlight would be much better if it had a single brightness level.. on, off, done. Or at the very least, if the brightest setting was the default. On such a small light, a Low-Med-High setting seems like overkill. Also, the pocket clip on this.. while functional, and actually pretty sturdy.. makes the flashlight ride a little high for my preferences when clipped. As a result, I normally just put it in pocket.. it is tiny enough that it is unobtrusive. Not a huge deal, I guess, but if you prefer a deeper carry, keep it in mind.. Overall, this really is a pretty good little light for the money. Had I realized it was such a PITA compared with other brands to turn on its bright setting, I probably wouldn't have bought it. If that doesn't bother you, I'd say go for it..
