Hey everyone, Wanted to give you a quick heads up. The new price for the Massdrop x Brad Zinker Dogtooth Frame Lock Knife will be $130 starting tomorrow (April 11th). As some of you may know, the prices on some of our Massdrop Made products are increasing. For a little more information on why you can go here (https://www.massdrop.com/talk/21735/pricing-update), but the short of it is that costs have increased over time and a lot of these items were initially underpriced in exchange for early exposure. Know that we’re doing other things to reward your early support, however, through new Launch pricing on newly introduced Massdrop Made products. Thanks for your understanding, feedback and support.

DuncanLol! Right when I was going to buy one. I was already going back and forth at $120. The price increase makes the decision much easier. You could have given us more than a days notice that the price was going to increase on this particular model. To be honest, MassDrop's communication all around sucks. From the support we are given when we ask questions through email, to the sporadic communication we receive here in the official "Discussions" section. I spend a LOT of time defending MassDrop on BladeForums and you guys can't even be bothered to log back into your account after purchasing a Dealer level membership.

FixallSorry for that. Not aiming to lose anyone's trust or faith, but I can see where you're coming from. Navigating the price increases has been tricky. We've known it's something we had/have to do so we're just trying to improve upon that as we go. Definitely not trying to pull a fast one. I, myself, usually pop onto BladeForums if we've been tagged or asked a question, but haven't seen that in a little while. Anyway, just wanted to respond and say we genuinely take your (and everyone's) feedback to heart. Not in like a 'thoughts & prayers' kind of way, but in appreciation of you keeping us honest. DuncanReplied to you on BladeForums. I understand you have a small team, but a larger presence there and more frequent log ins would be very beneficial in my opinion. I mean, you guys are starting to break in to higher end collaborations... Why wouldn't you want to market to a forum with a very large number of people who purchase mid to high end knives on a very regular basis? Knives over $150 - $200 are a very niche market and I think most of use would prefer to purchase those type of knives from someone with a passion and knowledge of knives. Do you not have someone on your team who has an interest in knives outside of work? I'm assuming probably not since the MassDrop account was just recently created rather than using an account with some history. Maybe it's time to bring on a knife enthusiast to act as a forum rep?

Duncan$130 is a fair price for that knife. I just wish it didn't say Massdrop on the blade.... Is there any way to get one that doesn't have that written on it?

Sharpy_McBladeTotally. It's a fair price for a great knife. It's just a little less appetizing at this price for the people who were already on the fence, so it would have been nice to have a week or two heads up before the price increase.

DuncanI tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. Your communication is utter shit. No one from Drop has logged on to BladeForums since April 25th and all queries and concerns have gone unanswered. Thanks for paying the membership fee to support the forums... And the thoughts and prayers, I guess.

FixallMan, you've been on my to-do list for literally weeks. I failed to get back to you, and I don't feel great about that. Been so focused on the changing from Massdrop to Drop everything else has gone by the wayside. I'm gonna take the time to hit you up right now because delaying any longer would just be rude.
