I was thinking about buying the black handle black DLC blade version, but the price isn’t what I expected. DLT trading exclusive Spyderco Manix 2 in 20CV drops tomorrow for exactly 1/2 the price of this at $129.99. Made in America, reputable manufacturer, designer and all that...

massdrop01I've just ordered 2 of those Manix... anyway that sprint run didn't last even 20 minutes... So seems many won't be able to take that as an option. Shipped just now from them (2 hours after I placed my order) talk about fast! Massdrop may learn a thing of two regarding fast fullfillment of orders =D

MarPablI got in on that Manix 2 deal. The run of 800 knives was gone in 7 minutes and 16 seconds. Over $100,000 in sales in under 8 minutes. Aside from the great choice of materials for this run, the knife is very appealing to me because it’s so AMBIDEXTROUS in use.

massdrop01I missed the Manix. Read this comment too late. But this knife is prettier and larger. I was looking for something a bit bigger. I have both the M390 Kershaws(very nice BTW).

massdrop01Decided to go with 2 manix for the same price. Still interested in this but im wary of first production so I’ll wait till the beta test is over and them figuring out all the kinks before getting it. I’ll probably get the regular protech knives for 1/2 the price instead. Same quality just 154CM.

massdrop01I did as well (arriving tomorrow), and I'll also wait for next drop, hoping we're getting titanium or carbon fiber next time... I still think ZT is a better buy for this reason...
