Time for a new sticky thread because the old one was getting a bit too clunky. August 17th Update About 65% of orders from run 95164, originally estimated to ship on July 31st, have shipped and you should have a tracking number. About 35% of those orders, will be shipping when the next bulk order arrives at our warehouse in 1-2 weeks. After those 35% of orders from 95164 are shipped, we'll be shipping all other orders (that have an estimated ship date of August 30th). There should be enough inventory coming in to cover everything, and also have extras for sale, but we can't guarantee that until we physically have it in our hands and have counted it. More updates once we get the inbound order. Reminder that pre-order discounts end on August 20th, expect prices to be ~25% higher. August 19th Update Latest expected arrival date of the next shipment is August 28th. Assuming we get it on that date, orders will be shipping the following week, August 31st-Sept 4th or thereabouts. Last warning/reminder, that prices will increase on Aug 20th, at 9AM. 70-pack will be $85, 90-pack $105, and 110 pack will be $125. These prices are lower than what we charged in 2018, and orders at these prices are shipping in ~2 weeks. The 70-pack is temporarily sold out (until our next restock comes). August 25th Update: The trucking company called and they're planning to deliver the pallets of switches to our warehouse on Wednesday August 26th. Once they arrive our team needs to unpack, inspect and count the contents of the shipment and then they can start fulfilling. We'll likely start to see orders shipping by the weekend, and everything should be shipped by early/midweek next week. August 25th Update #2: Seeing how all of the 70 + 90 packs are sold out of the inbound shipment (arriving 8/26), we've made the next ship date (end of September ship date) available for sale. August 26th Update: Truck arrived today at 1pm, they unloaded and started unpackaing/counting but didn't quite finish. They think they'll be done in the morning and start shipping tomorrow. Will post another update on the 27th. August 31st Update: Got lots of shipments sent out over the last few days + weekend, I think we'll be completely done shipping by Tuesday/Wednesday. Sept 1st Update: Just a bit more clarity with dates etc. The orders from run 95591 and 96260 (these all happened between June 23rd and August 25th), with an originally estimated scheduled ship date of August 31st, are now shipping and should be done in the next few days. Many people don't have run numbers anymore because we've transitioned our e-commerce system to Shopify (but the transaction dates quoted apply). Once those orders are done being shipped, we'll be shipping orders that came in on/after August 26th based on inventory availability (some of you ordered 110 packs that are in stock, others ordered 70 or 90 packs that may be in stock, or may not be available until the next shipment at the end of September). Estimated ship date for orders on August 26th or after was September 30th so you'll either be getting your switches really early, or around the estimated date. Sept 4th Update: 96% of the orders prior to August 25th have shipped as of today. We were hoping to have them all done by midweek but the warehouse is just swamped. We've called in an extra shift to work on the holiday Monday (this is voluntary, so attendance at this point is unknown), and that'll hopefully help us get caught up. I'd be surprised if the last 4% of orders aren't done over the weekend. For orders after August 25th, some of those orders have inventory and will ship next week, others are part of the next batch coming mid/end of September. We'll be plugging away at shipping those orders once the last of the August 25th group is done. Have a safe weekend. Sept 5th Update: 99.5% of orders prior to August 25th have shipped, the remaining .5% are usually bad addresses that need to be adjusted by CS or other strange exceptions. We'll be starting to ship Aug 25th-Sept 5th orders this coming week. As of today if you order the 70 or 90 pack you'll need to wait for the next shipment (end of Sept), but if you're ordering the 110 pack we have inventory and it'll ship pretty quickly (i.e. generally within 5 bus. days of your order placement). Sept 16th Update: Another shipment just arrived, we'll be unpacking and counting everything, and then shipping all outstanding (70, 90, and 110 pack) orders. Best guess is that all orders will be shipped by the end of next week (hopefully sooner!), which puts us about a week ahead of schedule.

I’ve even checked my spam and there has been no email that my item shipped and no updated tracking information, I’m waiting for drop to email me back and today was my first time checking the update info on the panda page which is why I’m starting to get upset since the shipment numbers have passed mine now. Especially after my shipment was supposedly shipped last week but no update. And Route doesn’t even have any info for tracking on it as well.

RecklessBTW@RecklessBTW There's a bug with the view order screen. Mine is like that too, stating that it shipped today (August 18th) but when following the email link to Fedex tracking I can see it will be delivered tomorrow. In your email notification from Drop when originally shipped you should have a Fedex tracking link. I got an email with Fedex tracking link on 8/7.

KevinI have booked the Holy Panda since March; therefore, I would like the tracking page to inform me of the status of the order, I know there were postponements and they reported it through this channel, but I have not received updates on the status of the order since July 17, already more than a month, I do not know if they finally sent the switches or another mishap happened to the package, I have contacted the support, they have written the same thing that was said here, although they did not answer me the reason for the lack of data in the shipment tracking.

KevinDo you ship to PO Boxes in the US? Or what shipping carrier do you use for shipping within the US for these? (I live in the middle of nowhere South Carolina, and normally receive all Mail at my PO Box, but depending on the carrier some will come down my quarter mile long driveway hah) Just about to place an order, so if anyone who has already received theirs in the US knows who delivered theirs I'd greatly appreciate your help if Kevin hasn't already replied. Thanks!

RecklessBTWDownload the shop (shopify) tracking app and input your email address that you use for your drop account and it should automatically find your order and show you exactly where it is on GPS map and gives you updates etc. Extremely handy when you have several group buys or orders you might have forgot about

PhlookeNot 100% sure about PO Boxes. I've heard different results so ymmv. We ship in the US using Fedex Smartpost (Free), and if you pay for upgraded shipping it's Fedex 2Day or Fedex NextDay services.

RAV_648Based on the tracking it looks like the courier got confused (bad address, or whatever) and decided to stop delivering the package and bring it back to the Drop Warehouse. Once you contact Customer Service they should get you sorted out and either send you a replacement pack of switches or give you a refund.

KevinMy order says "shipped" with a tracking number but it has been a week with no updates. I contacted fedex and they said they has not yet received the parcel to ship it out. I thought the fifo issue is dealt with and I see some people who ordered in May-June receiving their switches. Is there another issue with fifo? Ordered back in April [94759]. My switches are not in transit or sent to fed ex to be shipped. Is it going to ship or do I have to wait next month?

FrensicIn the case where Fedex doesn't update tracking after many days (As is the case in your order), usually it's because your order got lost at the fedex sorting depot before the initial scan, or didn't get loaded onto the truck properly. CS should be reaching out to you to dispatch a new set of switches to you.

KevinI thought that the problem that had arisen in my order was caused because they sent some packages that had to be sent after others, of which my order was and therefore they gave me $ 10 compensation, and not because the courier got confused. Therefore, I do not understand your answer and I kindly ask that you update my order on the drop page or send me updates to my email, since I am concerned about the investment I make in this product.

Kevin I never received an email with a tracking number or saying this item was shipped. I have received numerous other emails though. You said my tracking number had delivery on the 17th, the 17th, 18th as well as the 19th have come and gone. Still no email, no tracking number, no delivery or functional UI (everyday says "shipped on [current day]" since the 9th) for this first batch order. Contacted customer service days ago and still no response.

This is just a COVID problem that needs to get sorted out, hopefully we can find a courier that will deliver it, if not you'll get a refund.

KevinWhat you just said about the Germany warehouse is worrying...just checked my tracking status (run 94759), which was shipped from US on Aug 12. And the latest update is that its processed at a Transit facility in Frankfurt and its been sitting there since Aug 17. How would we know if our item is one of those "sitting at a random warehouse in Germany" that DHL won't return nor delivery? Have a sinking feeling mine is one of those. Any clarity would be appreciated.

WayniqYou’d know because of tracking, also those packages got “stuck” during the thick of COVID when couriers were changing their policies daily (now its weekly/monthly). For international shipments it’s normal to take a week or two, as of now you shouldn’t worry.

Per the August 19th update, is the "latest expected arrival date of the next shipment" referring to the last 35% of run 95164 (which I assume I'm a part of, as my order hasn't shipped with the first 65% of run 95164 that was communicated to have already shipped), or is this "next shipment" referring to later runs past 95164 being shipped before customers in 95164 have had their orders shipped? tldr when can we expect fulfillment of run 95164?

InsaneBlitzYeah I got the same status around 27th or something. Looking at past discussions, it could mean so many things. From my perspective, the details said it will ship in 31 August 2020 when I placed the order. If it says 'order placed with the vendor' does that mean they're just starting to 'put things together'? I understand production lead times but not sure how does that fit into this 'ships 31 August 2020'. I also understand it is also an estimate but production lead times are normally weeks, so this estimate could be way off.

KevinI ordered back in the beginning of the month, and the order said estimated shipping is August 28th, then changed to August 31st, now its changed to September 30th. But when I go to my transcript/ order it says August 31st. I hope they ship out soon. I've been waiting a month since I ordered.

Please keep in mind weekends do not count as business days. I'm sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime."

KevinThis has been one of the worse online merchandise experience I've ever had. Aside from the 3+ month of wait, the package was never delivered to me. Fedex marked it as "delivered" but it honestly couldn't have been because I live in an apartment with package lockers. All delivered packages goes to a locker with a notification sent to my phone in real time and I never got one. I checked the leasing office and even asked them to check the other lockers for me in case it was misplaced, but it was still not found. So, I contact Fedex as well as Drop for support. Drop's immediate response to me was to wait and asked me to contact their carriers myself, including USPS. I did that for 3 hours and received no helpful information. So then I reply to Drop with an update and their response still to "just wait". A week later I'm done waiting, I send screenshots of my locker notifications and my conversation history with Fedex and USPS to Drop. Drop finally responds asking for my address, but after I give them my address their response to me is "we don't normally cover items marked as delivered but we'll make an exception for you and give you a refund." Without asking me if I still wanted the item, they went ahead and processed the refund. And if you guys really don't normally cover items marked as delivered why did you make me wait and contact your carriers for you??? You could have at the very least saved me another 3 extra hours of trouble. All this plus the 3+ month of delayed shipping, I really wish there were a class action lawsuit against Drop. Needless to say, I will never be purchasing from Drop ever again.

bbb123It 100% sucks that you had this experience :( From your story though, I think Drop handled it okay. I think for vendors, they're not covered by insurance if the carrier marks it as delivered. The fault most likely belongs to your final carrier, and they either delivered it to the wrong address or something else funky. I know I've certainly received other people's packages before (multiple times...) and I would walk it over to the intended address if close enough. It also isn't unheard of for packages to be marked as delivered and for the package to magically turn up a couple days later (though now that I think about it, I wonder if its because it was delivered to the wrong address and the kind recipient delivered it....) Also, not trying to defend Drop - I'm peeved about their POM deception and their response as well - just giving credit where credit is due, lol.

LulunaI disagree: 1. They should have told me right away that the most they can do is refund me after a few days. I wouldn't have spent hours looking for them. 2. It was extremely difficult talking to Fedex because every rep I spoke to asked me to contact Drop to submit claims. Most online merchandise stores have procedures in place to contact the carriers when something like this happens. Where is Drop's? 3. They refunded the order without asking me. Having waited for these for 3 month, I don't care about the few bucks. When I asked for a replacement instead the response I got was "sorry it's already refunded and we're already making an exception for you anyways." Overall yes, it's not Drop's fault that there's delivery issues but delivery issues are part of business that should be taken into account. When something like this happens and you throw your hands up and say "sorry dude not my fault" really reeks of negligence.

bbb123I'm not trying to argue with you and make your negative experience even more negative. I agree that the outcome is ultimately far from desirable. You bought something presumably because you wanted it. You didn't get it after waiting three months. Your frustrations are understandable and expected. It seems to me that if Drop really didn't account that " delivery issues are part of business ", then they wouldn't have refunded you at all. They took responsibility by refunding. Is it the best outcome? Definitely not. Everyone is unhappy. Drop ultimately lost money from the transaction. You have no switches. Is it a fair outcome though? To me, yes. All that being said, have you tried re-ordering and submitting a ticket asking them to honor the original preorder price and to prioritize it for shipment based of your experience? I don't know they would say, but I imagine that they would at least honor the original pricing. Can't hurt if you still wanted the switches.

LulunaWell you are. Like I said, I disagree that Drop handled this correctly. There's many "fair" outcomes, and if I was looking for any "fair" outcome then I wouldn't have cared to write this. Besides, I don't think that it's fair that I spent month waiting and hours contacting carriers and looking for the package just to have Drop tell me "too late here's your refund." They could have sent me another one instead of the refund and that's also "fair" with the same amount of effort for them, and I would have been happy. It may be fair to you but not to me.

bbb123So just curious, Fedex was unable to trace back who actually accepted the parcel? Normally they ask for name and signature. Fedex should be able to track down the employee/driver who delivered the parcel too. I find it funny that Fedex just left it at that?

DavesdayThere's no signature required for packages to be delivered to the locker rooms, just a code that's been preassigned to carriers. The first time I called Fedex they promised to interview the driver and give me a callback by the next day, but I never got that phone call. I called them 3 more times after that and every time the person I spoke to claimed that they have no information about that phone call, and every one of them asked me to contact the seller to submit claims.
