I bought the weird guy fit about 5 years ago or so, and they never really felt comfortable. They felt really small compared to other size 34x34 pants that normally feel great, and the crotch always felt super tight. Will these fit the same or did they change the cut of the weird guy over the last 5 years?
Squirtis*edit: the cut was changed several years back per bhav's comment below*
The cut should be the same, maybe try going a size up?

dead_pixel_designHm, thing is most people in the comments are saying to size down, and in general a 36 is just too big for me, 34 fits me spot on with all other pants... Weird. I have long slender legs and both my weird guy jeans just fit funky. It's hard to pull the trigger on this. If they had a 35 I'd feel more comfortable.
SquirtisThe Weird Guy cut is an unusual one, I have typically heard that a lot of stockier guys really like it because they can get a taper leg like they want while still getting enough upper room for their thighs, this might just not be the cut for your body type

SquirtisN&F did change the Weird Guy fit! iirc the change happened almost 2 years ago. The consensus is that the new fit is much better and the pockets are now finally useful.

bhavHaha yes!! Ok I will probably jump on this then. Yea the old pockets were worthless, the jeans were so tight through the thigh and the rise was so low that they were very hard to use. Thanks for your response!!
