I feel like the whole reason people choose fleece is for its perfect balance betweeen warmth and breathability. so I've got to ask, If this jacket has an internal membrane, doesn't that decrease its breathability?

TounoProblem with fleece is the lightest breeze cuts right through it. I have a couple of fleece garments with a wind proof liner. They offer far greater comfort outdoors in windy conditions.
