I haven't had any issues with my Monoprice lightning cables fraying, but my girlfriend has had to RMA her cable twice due to this issue. The good thing is that Monoprice provides a lifetime warranty on all their cables, and you can get them replaced pretty easily. Maybe someone at Massdrop can confirm if Monoprice will uphold their warranty on purchases through this site?
