From a customer perspective, if I am to spend $$$ for a "gaming" mouse from a premium brand, the last thing I want is a monoprice "cheap cables and more!" label on it =__=.
This mouse is in the same price range as the razer deathadder, logitech g400, g9x, and more expensive than g100, abyssus, mx518, mico, xornet/spawn. All of which are competition level mice used by progamers and do not have ridiculous branding on it.
Maybe this is because zowie didn't want to negotiate?
