Wait, do my eyes play tricks? Am I reading the price right for this...this...pen? Clearly that must be a typo because who in there right mind would fork over $450 for a fountain pen!? That's ridiculous! And to top it off, it doesn't even come with black ink. Instead they give you blue! It's bad enough that whoever buys into this is getting ripped off, but you add insult to injury with no other option than blue ink. If you're spending that much money on a pen, then there should be a fucking rainbow of ink colors to choose from. But nope, not even black, just blue. Well, if that's the only color in this pen comes with, then I'm gonna have to pass on this absurd offer. Good day to you, sir!

JediJonI'm not sure if this is sarcasm or not, but do you realize that this is part for the course for fountain pens? $450 for celluloid plus a 18k flex nib is pretty good, considering. Now, Montegrappa as a brand on the other hand....let's just say they don't have the best track record. Hence why this pen is heavily discounted.

tanker357Italian pens are like Italian cars. They're beautiful but can be.... problematic. Ink starvation, skippy nibs, overpolishing, etc. Or it could be perfect. It's a lottery.
