Got it today, inked it with the black ink that comes with it.
The ink is not as black as i hope, more like a ballpoint black not ink black, but it is still slightly darker than ballpoint black. As for then pen itself,it works fine, but i am having difficulty filling the converter without removing the nib,it is easier to fill it by just using the converter instead of the traditional fountain pen method which is use the nib to ink it.But on the good side at least when i do it the ink can flow down to the nib just after a few lines(at 1st the writing will be a bit light),and if i do the converter thing on some of the fountain pen i will have to shake the pen to get the ink to the nib.
As for the feel of the writing with the pen...It is just .....Just ok..Not epic but not bad, just not bad.. Better than any ballpoints that i have used, but not as smooth as some good rollerballs (above $200).I would rank it a bit more smooth than a Lamy Safari, but not a lot.If you like ballpoint but want to use different ink this is for you,if you're already using fountain pen don't expect this to be an improvement .Rollerball, maybe, but depends.
I haven't use it long enough to determine how it holds the ink(leaks, does it dry quick,ect.).But i can tell you the Stylus is useless, you have to push it down to get it to work which is not ideal.Just a real cheap thing, don't expect too much out of it.
BTW,the packaging is quiet nice for its price with many little papers and a few cartridges.
I used it for a few days now and it is holding the ink quiet well,it can be used as a good travel pen since it tends to leak less than fountain pen and you can still use your favorite ink on the go,but i do recommend using more lubricating ink, since the pen does make my hand tire after long writing session.Personally i would suggest don't use the ink that came with it since it is more on the dry side, use J.Herbin 1670 or iroshizuku, some Noodler is really good for this pen as well.
