Excellently Tuned. For fans of Harman Tuning
Excellent implementation of diamond like carbon (DLC) dynamic drivers. I can see a lot of people liking the Moondrop Kanas Pro (KPE) as it is amazing for mainstream and electronic music so genres that are perfect are: EDM, R&B, Pop and Rap. The frequency response is slight U-Shaped. The DLC drivers work well with heightened bass which makes drums feel impactful. The bass of FLAC format music really comes out as you can feel the displacement of air from the bass. The zinc aluminium alloy along with a slight bump in treble allows instruments to come out with excellent clarity. Vocals are clear and have decent timbre but male vocals are slightly recessed while female vocals sound pretty good. Overall the Kanas Pro is a must have if you listen to mainstream music, love the sound of drums or have balanced armature IEMs and are looking for a good dynamic driver alternative. The big bore size gives it a bigger soundstage, but it may not fit properly on some ears. The included ear tips are terrible and I recommend using Spinfit CP145, JVC Spiral Dots or Final E Tips.

WHO23That’s what I had to use for tips (Spiral Dots). Nothing else fit correctly, the long nozzle doesn’t have much lip, so tips tend to slide too far down. I’d say that’s one of my few qualms. Spiral Dots fit great.

IEMagnetThe newly released Moondrop KXXS fixed the tip issue. A solution I found on Head-Fi for the Kanas Pro is to use a small rubber band to prop the tips further forward.
