The MicroUSB port on this only outputs at 0.5A if there is a full load, otherwise it will output 1A. The standard USB port on the Hub outputs 1A, and the Lightning outputs 2.1A. The max output load is 3.6A. So, if you only use say the Apple connector and the Micro-USB at the same time, you will get a 1A output from the MicroUSB. Still not a lot considering some devices use 2+ amps to fast charge.
I have myCharge's Peak 6000, and I like it. I got it as a gift. It maxes at 3.1A out, but I only use it for charging my iPhone 4S and Nook Tablet, so I've never maxed out its load. myCharge makes a good product, but they could be cheaper I will say.
