I've had this lamp in my backpack for six months now, and I can recommend it for basic needs of light. I plan to get more of these and spread them around the house, cars, bags etc. I have plenty of 18650 flashlights also, for situations where more is more. I don't even know why I like this lamp so much, I guess because it offers the basics with absolutely minimal cost in money, weight and space, and its just solid! And I feel I can rely on it.
Pros: +it weighs practically nothing, 60g including two Eneloop aaa's +takes practically no space at all +is sturdy plastic, I don't need to worry about it at all +the headband is good quality, sits well, just long enough for my huge head +works great with two Eneloop aaa's +cheap, you can put one everywhere you might need a lamp +has red light to save your night vision +great for tent, car etc close quarters
Cons: -not very bright, I don't think many lamps with two aaa's are much brighter though -hiking with it = you see what you are stepping on, but you will want more light, rocks will look like bears :) -no memory, it goes hi, low, red, off (long press for s.o.s.), not a big deal
PS To open the battery cover there is a tool in the headband!
