macadoodAs per the specs, it has different brightness settings. So low (~25% brightness) probably lasts 27 hours, high is probably 5.5 hours.

macadoodThe battery life / runtime will depend on whether the Glo-Toob is on High, Low or Strobe. Fyi, if their runtime rating adheres to ANSI FL-1 flashlight testing standards, then runtime [Hours] is defined as the amount of time, rounded to the nearest quarter hour, until output drops below 10%. I would also assume they performed their tests for each mode using a brand new alkaline battery each time to arrive at those values. So, I would guess, Low = 27 hrs, High = 5.5hrs and maybe Strobe = somewhere in between since High & Strobe has the same lumen rating but Strobe *may* draw less since it's not on constant.
In real-world situations, runtime would obviously vary depending on whether the battery is alkaline / lithium / NiMH / NiCd (assuming voltage range allows for different battery types) and whether the battery is new / old / partially depleted, ambient temperature, etc. Personally, I would say YMMV, take those numbers as a general guideline and carry spares with me.
I hope this sort of helps. Sorry for the long-winded response, I was a Flashoholic in a former life. :)
